It was until today when China has reached the intersection of “turning from manufacturing to creation and then to intelligence-based creation” that the machine tool industry began to frequently introduce new products. On June 18, Beijing New International Exhibition Center will be transformed into a “martial art arena” of the global machine tool industry; more than 1,300 top brands at home and abroad gathered together at the CIMES Machine Tool Show, to exchange ideas about the future of intelligent based creation based on innovation technologies.
With intelligentization, China is expected to achieve corner overtaking
Studies have shown that since the reform and opening up, 27% of China's per capita GDP growth is contributed from the “demographic dividend”, but as the inflection point of the dividend appeared, scholars from the United States and other countries believe that the new industrial revolution may force the Chinese manufacturing industry to face predicaments in the next 20 years.
In this regard, Zhou Ji, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, who has participated in the CIMES said that we should be grateful to the Americans for their warning; even though we were faced with many difficulties, in terms of the core technologies of “intelligent digitalization”, there is not a large gap between the starting points in different countries. We can fully achieve the significant strategic leap, to walk shoulder to shoulder with the Western countries and even make corner overtaking.
The aerospace, satellite, rail transportation and other high-end equipment [0.32%] industries are the scales to measure the core competitiveness of a world power, and the machine tools determine the level of the high-end equipment. At the CIMES, many overseas intelligence precision machine tools, industrial robots, CNC systems and other products vie with one another to burst into bloom. For example, the robot of the exhibitor Dalian Guangyang Technology can not only snatch up two hundred kilograms of weight, but also carve on stones, aluminum, and wood; the error is not more than 0.01 mm, which has reached the advanced level in Europe and America.
Intelligent Manufacturing is an excellent development opportunity for China to grow from large to strong, and enter the forefront of the world in terms of innovation and competitiveness. Through the changes in the development of CIMES machines in recent years, we can expect to achieve substantial breakthroughs during the second five year plan period.
